Want to hear from people who have seen this in DC. I am hoping to go in a couple weeks, but surprised about lack of reviews. Even the social media promotions look very subdued. What did you think if you went?

Does anyone know any promo / discount codes for the show? I am hoping to catch it over this weekend.

Hate to be that guy, but do any of you know any discount codes for this? I really want to see it from a reasonably close to stage seat, before it closes but don't want to make plans without buying tickets in advance, and over 300 per seat is not possible for me.

This is a pretty great show for a nice night in the town. The set is quite clever and I think serves the show well. The music for the Douglas character is significantly better written than Robin, IMO. And his story is also better. It helps that Tutty is an absolute firecracker of a performer. I liked Pitts but I think Robin's story doesn't take off till we are 40 minutes in, and by then it's too late. As an audience member, I don't care nearly as much about her anymore. Hi. I saw the 2nd preview performance of this show yesterday. Curious to hear your thoughts, if anyone has seen or is planning to see it. I personally highly recommend it. It's running a little long right now, and can probably use some heavy editing. Okay I have an annoying question. Anyone know how much the principal cast got paid? I read some articles saying Goldblum and Yeoh got $2M, Cynthia got $1M, and Grande got $15M.I'm not surprised at Grandes paycheck but Erivo being the lead and being so much lesser than other supporting cast seems really odd. I wonder if the royalty deals are differently structured.

George C Wolfe really could be a great director for this. If Audra is indeed Rose, I hope they lean into the performer being Black and how that changes the dynamics of her relationships, instead of making it a "color-blind" production.Herbie is such a thankless role that anyone the caliber of Stokes would be a waste.
