Does anyone have any discount codes for this show? I couldn't find one on the discounts board.

Want to hear from people who have seen this in DC. I am hoping to go in a couple weeks, but surprised about lack of reviews. Even the social media promotions look very subdued. What did you think if you went?

Hate to be that guy, but do any of you know any discount codes for this? I really want to see it from a reasonably close to stage seat, before it closes but don't want to make plans without buying tickets in advance, and over 300 per seat is not possible for me.

The first act felt like six hours long and nobody around me was tracking what was going on. Probably because we were all worried about our ears bleeding. In all the music, there was maybe 1/2 a tune present. I don't know who decided to program this, but they should be fired. The only way to save this is to scrap the creative team and start over from scratch. I could go into ...

Two Strangers (Carry A Cake Across New York)

This is a pretty great show for a nice night in the town. The set is quite clever and I think serves the show well. The music for the Douglas character is significantly better written than Robin, IMO. And his story is also better. It helps that Tutty is an absolute firecracker of a performer. I liked Pitts but I think Robin's story doesn't take off till we are 40 minutes in, and by then it's too late. As an audience member, I don't care nearly as much about her anymore. Unless they add a coup...

Hi. I saw the 2nd preview performance of this show yesterday. Curious to hear your thoughts, if anyone has seen or is planning to see it. I personally highly recommend it. It's running a little long right now, and can probably use some heavy editing. But it was exhilarating watching so much of what I feel as millennial gay man, caught in middle of two generations which have gone through so much change in societal acceptance. Me and my partner were very surprised and taken aback about how many...

"I don’t know if those salary figures are correct, but if so, a million bucks is not bad. My heart does not break for Cynthia. They get paid according to their box office drawing power. Not their talent, or how much hard work they put in.Still a LOT more than the hardworking public servants. Nurses, paramedics, firefighters, teachers etc. Down with capitalism!"This gave me whiplash. Quite a duality you have in which you hate capitalism but someone's talent and amount of work not getting compe...

Okay I have an annoying question. Anyone know how much the principal cast got paid? I read some articles saying Goldblum and Yeoh got $2M, Cynthia got $1M, and Grande got $15M.I'm not surprised at Grandes paycheck but Erivo being the lead and being so much lesser than other supporting cast seems really odd. I wonder if the royalty deals are differently structured.

This chat board has insisted that that's why Emmett's role was beefed up in the stage adaptation. I find it so distracting, imo it takes away a lot of the agency from Elle. My favorite line in the movie was "I'll show you how valuable Elle Woods can be" which was replaced by the entire Chip On My Shoulder scene which is...not only the worst song in the...

I'm sorry but the answer is very clearly a Legally Blonde revival, with Renee Rapp as Vivienne. Sherie Rene Scott would be a fabulous Paulette.(As long as they rewrite or cut the unnecessary "we cast a big name for Emmett so unfortunately he will have to play a really big part in her self actualization".)

RippedMan: "Why would anyone want to pay $ to watch someone struggle through a score? I don’t think it would be an event but a blunder."I'm a massive fan of Chopra's work in Bollywood, so I know what she's capable of as an actress. To be clear, I'm not saying she should have been cast. I'm mostly day dreaming about the possibilities if she was a strong enough singer to pull this score off.TotallyEffed: "I can’t imagine any married couple wanting to touch this piece

My genuine first thought was how cool would it have been if Priyanka Chopra had been announced as Cathy. (Yes I know Warren would be fantastic, and I know Chopra can't sing this role but she is a phenomenal actress and it would have been quite an event)
