Posted: 12/23/04 at 12:25pmHi from London! My flight was great. Love those halcions. I slept through the whole flight. Arrived at 7 am, checked in and slep tillnoon. Caught a matinee of Abridged Shakespeare. It was hysterical. I am getting myself guzzied up and meeting my friend and then off to Mary Poppins. I took a whole bunch of pictures today of all the different theaters. I will post them later tonight.

I wish I was in London right now!! I love London at Christmas. What area of town are you staying in?
If you are into interior design, check and see if the Geffrye Museum has their Christmas exhibit on. They recreate historical Christmas interiors. I thought they were interesting.

'Aren't you back from poppins yet? Is it a 8 hour time difference? Knowing you; you are probaly going out after and hussying up the boys. Except those british boys have ugly teeth and smell like cigarettes.

re: DAME in London#13
Posted: 12/24/04 at 1:41pmSaw Mary Poppins last night and Jerry Springer this afternoon. Poppins is fabulous. Some of the most inventive staging I have evr seen. And the new number are all just as strong if not better than the ones they replace in the film. This show is going to be a money making machine just like Le Miz maybe even more. I will post a detailed review next week when I am back. The Sheraton charges internet by the hour. Jerry Springer was a hoot. The second half with Jerry Hosting the show with Jesus, God, Mary, and the Devil as his guests had me in hysterical laughter. Todays performance was a specially scheduled matinee.. so the audience was filled with people from other shows. Regent park is beautiful during Christmas. The energy here is electrifying. Too bad the ridiculous exchange value doesn't allow me to go shopping.

Posted: 12/25/04 at 8:56amI try. Just spent the morning strolling through Hyde Park and Knitsbridge. Thank god Harrods is closed . One of the windows has a guy in a Christmas fantasy scene wearing a studded harness. My kind of holiday. Off to afternoon tea.
