Marc,
You must be pulling my leg. I would have recognized you or your husband anywhere. But you haven't said... what did you think of the show?
haven't you noticed I NEVER say what I think of a show, any show!!!
except HAIRSPRAY...I mean, that is such a wonderful musical, I can't help myself
cheerio!!
Marc,
Haved you eaten at a reastaurant called "Wood Box" ? It is in Knitsbridge. Hmm.. delicious. And I can understand why you don't post opinions on shows.
Hello from Barcelona. Of to dinner and a night bus tour to orient myself. Anyone been here before? I would love to here peoples recomendastions regarding reastaurants and maybe even some theater. Hablo Espanol y Castellano asi que no es un problema.

We just learned about the wonderful city in Spanish III.
I just maxed out one credit card in only one store today.
...and we'll see you back in NY soon!
I want to know your thoughts on Barcelona. Jarico and I are making our first trip there in March. We both love London and I wish I was there now. I also enjoy Shakespeare Abridged in London with my parents. Hilarious show! Enjoy the rest of your trip!
Marc, were you at the Cambridge to check out the venue for "Hairspray?" I was there not too long ago....isn't it a bit small? I would have thought the Dominion, the Victoria Palace or what not for your show!
What's playing at the opera house?
Head into Barceloneta for the seafood. 7 Portes is slightly touristy, but it does have an amazing paella. Senor Paradella is also really good. As with all the restaurants in Barcelona, eat late to avoid the tourists...
Going to the Opera house tomorrow night on my last night heere. Love it here. But it is Winter so not that many tourists and no lines for anything. The food everywhere is delicious. can you reccomend a reastaurant by the Opera House?
Dame -
When you were in London, did you see "The Woman in White"? If so, how was it? I really think Angela Christian is very talented.
Hard to say. The Opera House is right by the main La Rambla, which is touristy to hell and back. I stayed away from there foodwise. However, if you're by the upper section of the main La Rambla, you'll have a better chance of getting good food, before heading down towards the Opera House. Wish I could have been of more help. Enjoy the rest of your stay there!
Junglered,
I didn't care for "Woman In White." I was bored and perhaps Jet Lag contributed to my dislike. Angela was fine. Everyone in it was just fine. Michael Crawford was annoying. Itis a shame such crap is being transfered to Broadway whilse something as enjoyable and over the top delicious as "Jerry Springer The Opera" won't be.
Kissmycookie,
You have been so helpful. Thank you. Tonight is my last nighthere. I think I will eat in Las ramblas since after all ; I am a tourist. I would love to go to a fun gay club after the show. Can you reccomend anything?
I'm back. I can't believe it is all over. I wonder if it was all a dream. And then I look at my credit card statement on line and realize it was all a part of a now dark reality............sigh.....
glad you had a great time! thanks for the posts maybe i'll get to go in 2005 ...
