I was going to to see Therese Raquin last night but I had a terrible day so I decided I needed a fun, light show instead and I went to see this. I just have to say, this cast really is giving it their all. They had an incredible amount of energy and threw everything into those performances. It was the emptiest Broadway house I've ever been in. I couldn't see the mezz but the orchestra was more than half empty. It must be so difficult to give that much to a performance 8 times a week, but I can't even imagine how much harder it is doing it for mostly empty seats. Kudos and thanks to them and thanks to them for giving me a fun, uplifting end to a crummy day.

Everyone has has been talking about Lesli Margherita and I agree she was great, but it was actually Mara Davi whose dancing stood out to me.   I thought Eloise Kropp was cute and liked her performance, although her singing isn't as strong as the other two ladies.

Not a brilliant or ground-breaking piece of theater by any means but a fun send-up with fabulous dancing. Glad I saw it before it closes.

But yeah, I couldn't see this in the Chicago barns, I mean theaters, where the tours play. It would be dwarfed.

I saw it this past Wednesday evening. They were telling everyone with seats in the mezz to not even go upstairs, they had seats for them in the orchestra. Even with that the orchestra still wasn't half full.

I enjoyed the show and had a nice time but I can see why this isn't doing great business. I totally agree about the cast giving it their all. I also LOVED Mari Davi.

And just in case anyone is wondering (though I doubt it), I won the digital lotto and was seated in the front row, seat 109. The stage is  very high so I missed their feet during the tap numbers. :-/
