DEH Ticket Lottery

In all honesty, how likely is it to win the Dear Evan Hansen lottery? I'm so desperate to see this show and I really want to see it before Ben leaves in late November! Also, if I were to win the lottery, can any past winners tell me how good their seats were?

 

UPDATE: You can't enter on Mondays, right? Also, are Saturdays closed too?

" The chances to win the lottery for DEH is probably the lowest out there because you and everyone else are thinking the same thing! Honestly, your chances to win the Hamilton lottery are higher. 

There have been a couple posts that the seats are first row all the way to the side or in the box. Good luck!

I entered almost every day (only didn't a few times when I was out of town and 100% couldn't go) since the lottery started and I finally won 2 weeks ago. I got 1 seat in the box and 1 seat in the front row all the way to the side. My box seat was great but the front row seat was pretty terrible due to the extreme height and closeness of the stage. Luckily my boyfriend is pretty tall so he was fine. If I was going to sit there I would have gotten one of those extra seat cushions from the usher. For $40 though you canNOT complain one bit. It's a privilege just to get a spot in that theater no matter where it is!

You definitely cannot rely on the lottery, but everyone has the same chance!

I also think very few people win the DEH lottery each performance since it's super rare to see any lottery winners to post about their wins on social media.  If I were to guess I'd say only 1 or 2 people win the DEH lottery each day.

This is probably the hardest digital lottery to win on bway right now.

I won on Friday, and it was my third time entering the lottery ever. Ive only entered June 13th and 14th before Friday night, so it was a huge shock. The two seats I got were a part. I sat in the front row, in the first seat on the left side of the orchestra. And my friend sat on the other side of the orchestra on the end, front row. The stage is like 5 feet tall, so we had to look up. But for $42, it didn't bother me at all. I forgot about halfway through the show anyways. Made a lot of eye contact with Ben. Amazing experience!
