Yay, I am so glad that you had such a great time!
Lol sorry, looking back at this thread I'm sure people are getting tired of me pimping this show, but it really is that much fun- there have been some nights where I literally just could not stop laughing. If you search a certain website there are a lot of good clips of past shows- Barack Obama and Welcome to Hell from last month are still making me laugh...
And, the celebrity audience factor is just bonus. :)

Yeah, we were already making our plans to go again. It was just so much fun.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

I also wanted to throw something at the McDreamy girls - they were sitting in front of my friends and I, and I was pretty sure they were solely there because they were Grey's fans. Nothing was funny to them.
I thought the dating skit thing was particularly hilarious, as well as the PANCAKES musical. Absolutely hilarious. Can't wait for the next one.
And I'm sad I didn't get to say hi to you, Anakela! I saw you sitting all the way in the middle.

Whomever runs Sara's Myspace and Facebook sent out notices about the show. I was afraid it was going to be FULL of squeeing fangirls, but it wasn't bad.
The pancake musical was SO funny. The vagina song was pure perfection.

That is too funny popular_elphie, I totally missed you last night! Nothing like DQ to make you check in with people. :)
Which dating skit did you like- the celeb dating game dating skit, or the audience participation one? I loved the audience participation one, but I just thought the celeb dating game one went on for a few minutes too long- not that it wasn't funny or anything, it just felt long to me for some reason. Pancakes: The Musical was hilarious, although Spelunking in a Hooker gets the win for title, and for allowing Steve to ask "What kind of name is Asmeret?" Hee.

Go right on pimping Anakela. This show gets better and better every month. This was my fifth, and I will definitely be there through June.
Since it wasn't brought up yer, I want to say how much I loved Michael McKean's backstage story and performance. I am still wondering if that Sweeney Todd song was real, or a creation of his vivid imagination.
Sara was also stunning. With what she was wearing, she was throwing off an Ann-Margret/Nancy Sinatra vibe.

Thanks FeelingElectric, I will go right on pimping, lol.
And fyi, for what it's worth, the BWW photo coverage is calling McKean's Sweeney number an 'original song.'

JerseyGirl....was Julia part of the show?

Anakela, I was referring to the audience one. I agree the celebrity one went on a bit too long (though Sara was hilarious as Richard Simmons).
I feel like McKean said the Sweeney number was an old song from the 20's or something.
And theatregeek2, Julia was not part of the performance. There were tons of performers that are currently or have recently been on Broadway there.
