A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!'' Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'

hmm thats strange! maybe they used an understudy, i mean its only Girls Aloud, no scrap that 1/5 of Girls Aloud, its nothing to get your principles out for is it! lol

Im soooooooooooooooo tired today and feel like crap, and i have an 8 hour rehearsal ahead of me for the Breakfast Club grrrrrrrrrrrr i want my bed *sobs*

PETER SAUL! there was a name when he had the lil interview. After watching the programme i realised it was the same cast i saw last time i went and checked my programme and he was the understudy Valjean :) glad that one is cleared up!

8 hours! Thats a bit harsh!

I hate long rehearsals, I remember once having a 9 til 10 rehearsal for Peter Pan...ouch! And I live about an hour away from Cardiff, which meant having to leave at about 8am, therefore having to wake up about 7am (I still took a good hour to get ready, even when I was 12 haha!) and also not getting home till 11pm! Long days! I'm SADM2 I feel like I'm stealing your thunder lol...
Talking about what we did on the weekend, I got my eyebrow pierced, haha!

why does everyone loath long rehearsals? i love big old long rehearsals

eyebrow pierced? i worked..drank..slept..! it was so much more exciting than anyone elses!!

I just feel that after a long rehearsal despite being tired, sweaty and hungry, i have achieved a lot more, more than a small rehearsal where you just do lil picky bits.
how long do you have now til The Breakfast Club SANDM2?

Phew all done and im shattered grrrr

I normally like long rehearsals but not when im directing as well, that just drives me insane grrr

We open on the 28th of October so have about 7 weeks left yet but only 9 rehearsals

awh so its sunday night, nearly the end of our friday night turned long weekend thread about nothing..! its been good, a nice way to kill some boredom with some theatre references along the way..

I make sure private sector investment in public sector assets (hospitals, schools etc.) is being managed properly.

I do enjoy it but I wish it were rather less intense than it is at the moment.

Well, maybe next year...
