Tom Hewitt in a cape? I don't know, think it's time to give the vampyres a rest. Michael Crawford is still licking his neck wounds.

Is anyone here familiar with a dreadful musical called MY FAIR DRACULA? It was given several mountings at various dinner theaters on Long Island a few years ago. Each production seemed to be worse than the others.

Does anybody think that because the show is by Frank Wildhorn that Linda Eder may possibly appear in it? Also, aside from Tom Hewitt, any other casting been announced?

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

Evanston - Have you ever heard or seen Tom Hewitt in the role of Dracula? He is absolutely amazing. Any ways, I think that this production of Dracula could potentially be a chance for composer Frank Wildhorn to score with the critics. I think it is totally rediculous for people to say that a musical with flop because it is a "Frank Wilhorn Musical"....I think that is a biased and premature conclusion. I understand that most of his other shows were not to popular with the critics....I've seen them and can understand where the critics were coming from with their opinions. Aside from that, Dracula has been increasingly reworked, and has had seven new song additions. The La Jolla cast was phenominal, and the technical aspects of the production were so amazing that it is almost to hard to describe. I am pleased with the sudden uprising of vampire musicals. The subject of vampires contains much drama and suspense, and leaves room for other genres such as romance, comedy, horror, mystery, etc. I personally can't wait for Dracula to open this summer and am looking forward to seeing it....I'll be there!!!

See Ya Later!

Is this show still in the works, or what? I hear the casting has been a nightmare.

OH YEA!!! I hate walking by the Belasco and seeing it dark ( any theatre for that matter) But a good spooky musical in a "haunted theater" could be alot of fun!!!

I can't wait to see it again. I saw it in LaJolla ~ it needed some work but I still really enjoyed it.
