DSM 2007 SEASON - The Line-Up!

So, I got this e-mail today saying that they are announcing the 2007 season of Dallas Summer Musicals! Finally, I can't wait.

Well, they sent this picture with the e-mail - of crayons. And each crayon is a different color.

Now, we already know we are getting Wicked (at the start of the season), The Lion King (to end the season) and Sweet Charity - right before Lion King (as posted on Charity's website). Well the first color happens to be a lime green, the last - a gold, and the one before a pink.

So I think to myself - Does each crayon color represent each of the shows scheduled?

Can you help me think of the other shows? Post what you think each color may represent. The colors in order: Lime Green, Purple, Yellow, Red, Blue, Pink, Gold.

My Predictions:
Purple - The Color Purple
Yellow - The Light in the Piazza
Red - ?
Blue - ?

Red could be... Chicago

and as for blue, I have no idea. Hairspray?

Lime Green: Wicked
Purple: The Color Purple
Yellow: The Light in the Piazza? Spelling Bee?
Red: Sweet Charity
Blue: Spamalot? Movin' Out?

Actually that is their Broadway Contemporary Series - the season that comes between the 2006 and 2007 seasons.

Sunday they will announce the 2007 Summer Season.

I got very curious when I saw purple and thought could Color Purple be coming to dallas?

Thanks for posting. Ya, I guess I had my hopes up to high. We usually don't get that great of seasons. Just a few good shows here and there.

"Season ticket packages for the 2007 Dallas Summer Musicals summer season go on sale Monday, October 23, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. A season ticket package for the 2007 season includes the same seats, day of week and performance time to see: Wicked, Wonderful Town, Camelot, Chicago, Spamalot, Sweet Charity, and Disney’s The Lion King."

Wonderful Town was purple and Camelot was yellow. Why? I dunno. But the others make since.
