If I recall (my memory may be a bit fuzzy) in a Dec article in Time Out New York when they were both interviewed, they indicated that they were friends for more than 30 years. Maybe I read it wrong, but I would think that it meant that it was more than just briefly meeting a long time ago.

I was mistaken - it was NOT in that article, I'm sorry. It had to do with an interview with Gary Beach when he was asked "Are you enjoying working with Daniel Davis?" He replied: "He's wonderful. And here's the best part: I've known him for 30 years because we shared a close mutual friend. this is one of my favorite relationships I've ever had on stage because it's a little raw."

i think this is bs cause they were both amazing at the stage door andsaid bye to each other it was great, they have amazing chemistry together on stage and everything they do is great .
