Posted: 7/31/04 at 2:59pmi kept seeing hasselhoff during my one vacation in CA. my family and i were in malibu and my dad went out to surf and after he got done he walked onto some set for baywatch or something and he watched hasselhoff get his make up done. then we drove south to sea world in san diego and he was singing there. he was being filmed and i saw it later on tv and the camera panned over my mom. not many people were watching him though. i wonder why. . .

Hold the pies...but I agree with Jack42. Hasselhoff may be fine for Billy Flynn. It's not an enormous role and certaintly a walk in the park compared to J&H, which he butchered pretty badly.
DH happens to think he is a "great stage performer, which is pretty pathetic considering what he put out at the Plymouth.
However, in David's defense. He is a very attractive guy, for his age and not as bad an actor as many paint him. A bit cocky, but decent to work with overall. Most who dealt with him during J&H would tend to agree. He'll pull off Billy with little problem and they will love him in London as they do in Germany. That's just my opinion.
Just keep him over the pond on stage!
