David Hyde Pierce Attendance at Curtains

Today my family and I are going to see Curtains. This is my second time seeing it. I was just wondering how is David Hyde Pierce's attendance is because my mom and my sister haven't seen it and the really want to see him. How many shows do you think he has missed. Do you think he will be there.

Apart from his scheduled vacations, he has not missed a performance. He'll be there.

Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

Like smaxie said, he has only missed for his vacations, and with the show closing next weekend, he will be sure not to miss.

DHP doesn't miss shows. Debra Monk, unfortunately, has been out for awhile now, so you won't see her today.

Shbrt - Sorry to hear about Ms. Monk. Hope she's doing better. Does Patty G. still understudy for Ms. Monk? I saw her (PG) in a performance as Carmen once before and thought she was wonderful. Not Ms. Monk, but who is? None the less, Patty was very good.

Yes, Patty has been playing Carmen, with Jennifer Frankel going on once, as far as I know. Patty does an excellent job as Carmen :)

That's good news for esparza and family. Patty must be the finest "no talent leading lady" on Broadway. She's a treat to watch.

I saw Patty on Wednesday night and I thought she was FANTASTIC. I actually found her to be a stronger singer than Ms. Monk, though perhaps not with quite as much stage presence. I thoroughly enjoyed her performance. AND the whole show. Couldn't stop grinning.

Yeah, Patty definitely is more of a singer. She really fills out the sound of "What Kind Of Man?"
