I've heard that Declan will be extending his run as Roger in Rent untill April 6th. Is this true? Is Harley gonna leave without him? I've heard they are going to bring back WILL chase as Roger is this true also? This could mean they are going to EXTEND (Which would be AWESOME)
~NO DAY BUT TODAY~ for this show to extend.

Posted: 3/13/08 at 9:44amI don't see how bringing someone in to play Roger in April has anything to do with the show's closing in June. That said, if Will Chase came back as Roger I might actually go see the show again before it closes.

Are you kidding me?
This guy is playing Roger on Broadway?! I saw him on the tour last year and he was my absolute least favorite part of the show. I know it's only opinion, but I thought his performance was sub-par for a touring production led alone a Broadway show...

I didn't realize everyone in the final cast of Rent was required to change their surname to "Rent."
It's in their contract.

I hope Declan leaves. I saw the show tonight...friend won lottery. I just hate how Declan clenches up his face when he sings...it's stiffles all the words coming out of his face and it looks like he's having a facial spasm...makes him sound like a second-rate Eddie Vedder/Joe Cocker. You could also hear his accent coming out. I just think he's the weakest link in the show right now. Kyle Post was in for Harley. Kyle's an old co-worker of mine. He was good...his voice reminds me of Anthony's. Nicollette Hart...comically, she wonderful...but it's hard to take her seriously when later on in the show. As a whole...the show could be so much better. closer. I consider myself a moderate fan of Rent. I just hate to see it go out with such a wimper.
