Love Dennis Haysburt from both 24 and The Unit, but not sure I can see him in this role. Sure he'll do a good job, though.

2 of my college friends, who I couldn't get to a Broadway show for anything, just texted me asking if I wanted to go see President David Palmer with them in NY.

I have always found him to be completely wooden, even on 24 (of which I have been a huge fan).
He's alright....hardly the second coming of James Earl Jones which is who I think he is trying to emulate. I feel like people think his vocal timbre makes him a good actor when he is just very one note.

I'm not sure how strong of an actor he is, but I remember thinking he was kind of good in Love Field with Michelle Pfeiffer.
