Denzel as Caesar?

I feel really dumb, not knowing Denzel Washington was playing Julius Caesar. Is he still in that role? *braindead*

he's playing Brutus. The production is still in previews, and yes he's still there. William Sadler is Caesar.

Denzel was never playing Caesar, he was always cast as Brutus. Though the play is titled Julius Caesar, he is assassinated halfway through it. Brutus is the lead role.

Well, that shows how well i read the info. My bad. Lol. My question was was he still in the show. Man... i feel stupid and ridiculously tired today.

And yes, i am familiar with the plot of Julius Caesar. I just finished studying it.... *shivers*. No one should EVER analyze shakespare that much.

Denzel is still in the show - it opens on Sunday & is a limited engagement(closing in June). He is expected to stay the entire run. Don't feel stupid for asking questions - it's what we're here for.
