This is well known. Marc Cherry (the creator) has stated that all of the episodes are named after a Sondheim song or lyric. And if not a Sondheim song, than a showtune in general.

"Sing the words, Patti!!!!" Stephen Sondheim to Patti LuPone.

Not all, wickedfan - but the VAST majority are named after Sondeim songs or lyrics (ie this week was "No fits, no fights, no feuds" - not a title, but a lyric...

I stated jasonf, that if they were not a song title than they were a lyric. Or if not written by Sondheim than they were a showtune in general, one I believe was called "Anything You Can Do".

"Sing the words, Patti!!!!" Stephen Sondheim to Patti LuPone.

Marc Cherry was a musical theater performer before creating "Housewives" :)
Please excuse me if this was already common knowledge...

And Marc Cherry has vowed to devote his entire post-HOUSEWIVES career to writing librettos for musicals. He explicitly stated this information in article I read... not sure which. Maybe someday he could work with Sondheim? Could be interesting... but they better get crackin'!
