I cannot believe I read that whole thing, but I think its fantastic. Although I was a tad skeptical over this adaptation considering Doubt is my favorite play, but I think it is turning out the way it should be.
A little more than year ago, an article was published saying that Treasure Island was aiming for a Broadway debt in the summer of '07. Later, it was announced it was delayed from planning on opening at the Belasco. So I'm guessing this is cancelled? I'm god-awful at writing reviews, but here I go..... After reading many bad reviews for this production, I walked in unexcited and uninterested. But let me say, I left wanting to see it again. It was a truly amazing show. I got my tickets for $32 plus surcharges through tdf, and it was worth every penny. I had great seats in the orchestra and it seemed very full. I did not see how many people were in the mezzanine, But it seemed full when I was using the mens room upstairs. Standouts: James B...
I heard it a while ago, and I would love to see it on Broadway. It is my third favorite Disney film behind Beauty and The Little Mermaid, and well lets hope it could have been better than the latter.
