Serious theatergoers will want to see it
It may be a hard sell, however, as it is opening in January is not a musical & outside of NY whatever tourists are here than will probably not flock to it
With these 2 in it & it being written by Mc Nally, the critics should like it although with them you never know
Should this pop up on an offering of some sort, we will definitely give it a look/see

I thought with tickets going on sale now.....
Even so, my statements are still valid (except the January part)re it being a hard sell to anyone other than NY theatergoers. How many tourists have heard of Lansbury let alone Seldes ? Tourists generally flock to musicals
Time will tell

Well, I think Angela Lansbury is a household name, if just for Murder, She Wrote. But I'll agree that many tourists aren't gonna be flocking to a play.
It'll be my first Broadway play, how could I pass up to see Angela Lansbury, HOW?

McNally wrote the book for CHITA RIVERA: THE DANCER'S LIFE and the critics were not kind. And that starred Chita Rivera. No matter who writes what or whomever is starring in whatever, theatre critics judge a piece by itself.
