OY VEY, Vanessa Williams is lovely and talented. But the fact that she played a less-interesting version of this character on television really isn't a qualifier. Always thought that Wilhemina was a watered-down Miranda Priestly.

Would love to see Audra play this role. Shut up, STFU, she would be great.

Christine Baranski anyone? I know she may be a little old to have two young daughters, but she'd be perfect in this, and she sings too!

And for Andrea? How about a nice, talented, fresh-faced unknown? It doesn't add much fun to a thread about fun casting ideas, but it's something I'd like to see more of!

NOt only is she wrong for the role of Amanda she is also too short for the outfits Miranda wears. Both Streep and Anna Wintour are 5'7" and couture works well on them.
