this is very exciting news for those of who never got to see the original cast in person...and yes i have watched the pro-shot Disney+ presentation many many times...but seeing this on a super large movie screen with great sound will be a thrill for sure!

A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC is and was the most perfect musical i have ever seen...this was the original production on Broadway...BEST MUSICAL !

My 50TH year anniversary A CHORUS LINE story...i was in the audience the week of the TONYS, 1976 to see ACL for the very first time...what a thrill it was, especially that week...but the real story is that the night of the TONYS award show, a very good friend of mine and i went to watch the TONYS on a tv at THE PUBLIC THEATRE, with many of the backstage crew who helped make that show such a hit when it played THE PUBLIC...that was an amazing crowd to be watching ACL win all its' awards...and ...

From what i have heard so far in regards to the new album, she is singing in a very comfortable range, and she sounds glorious in this range...the songs are very easy listening songs which are not really songs that move me, like her selection of songs she used to be able to belt...but that being said it is fabulous to have new music from Babs non the less...

what i found strange was what they tried to do with all the chorus singers/dancers...they certainly moved around a lot in unison and i thought that was really weird as it wasn't choreographed well...but i did enjoy the LET IT GO number with the lights and costume change...

Bill Condon's direction for DREAMGIRLS was awful in the second act of the movie as it became all about Beyonce...let's hope this time he directs JLO to an Oscar nomination!

i saw this wonderfully delightful show last December and it was the most fun i have had in the theatre since SOMETHING ROTTEN...Andrew Rannells, and Josh Gad were a team made in musical theatre heaven!

while watching this episode, the 7th, i actually found myself saying "wow Patti can really act!"...I'm such a fan of her Broadway roles, but this really pleased me as well!
