i wish i could see diana! hopefully she comes to broadway someday, id love to see her act. how does she handle the soprano?? from what i heard of her on AI, she seemed so versatile, but im still curious.

EDIT: i hope they film this!

Yeah, I was wondering the same. Does she have a legit voice buried underneath that American Idol sounding voice? I mean, I'm assuming her voice sounds more mature now, she was about 16 during AI. I'd be interested to see this, but alas I'm on the east coast.

My friend claims she sang the songs in pure soprano and pulled it off almost effortlessly. There seems to be much more to this young woman than just being the runner-up to Fantasia on American Idol and singing pop music. I hope if her name gets bandied about again for a Broadway role that this performance earns her the benefit of the doubt. She was really ripped to shreads when this casting news leaked out.

Her soprano was perfect. The perfect ingenue! It made me wish the songs were a bit longer. Even I Feel Pretty which is my least favorite Broadway song of all time! Lets keep our fingers crossed for a CD of Broadway songs!!!
