Did Anyone See the Final Performance of Wonderful Town Today? — Page 2

I'm sad the show has closed. I saw it this summer and I loved it.

And I don't usually speak up on this kind of this thing but I really am sick of the Donna bashing. Priest, Gettinhep, JRB I couldn't agree with you guys more. All this bashing is just so immature. Get over it.

Oh well regardless of Donna's record or anything else this was great show and I'm sad it's gone and that more people won't be able to hear that FABULOUS orchestra.

I LOVE how I've been now labeled a Donna Murphy hater & basher. You can kiss my ass. I said I COMPLETELY respect the woman, I think she is so talented. I just would like to know why she missed SO MANY performances, with absolutely NO EXUSE. Atleast Ann Reinking has exuses when she was out of Chicago (Injury, Death of her mother).

Again, I will state. I don't hate Donna Murphy, I don't bash her. I think she is VERY talented, LOVVVEE her voice.

OH. I will admit. I was wrong for calling Donna "lazy". I don't really think she is. I appreciate her work and effort.

I'm glad that everyone has agreed.
I am aware of the reason that Donna missed so many performances, but its not my place to say. One of my teachers is friends with her, and has informed me of what ended her run. I can say, that it was no fault of hers. I think now that the show has ended, she should be able to come out and tell everyone what happened.
I think that many would dislike her more if she was unprofessional and came out with it while the show was running.
All we can do now is wait.
And I'm so sad that the show closed!
