It sounds EXACTLY like her. Did she participate? It seems strange that it would.
By the way, this demo was hilarious, with the tutor person, and CULA and the dad's weird accent and when Elle (it wasn't LBB or Kerry, I can tell) says "Really ... No!!!" and the stupid "OHHHHHKAY." It was just a little too happy. Enjoyable, but strange. But, I'm serious about the Idina thing. It sounds JUST like her.

Posted: 10/28/08 at 5:56pmI don't hear the similarity, but I really want to know who this woman is... she has an odd little lisp, and her voice isn't necessarily totally terrible, but it's very different from what I was expecting. The riffs on "Love can conquer all" are disgusting, but there are a few places that sound pretty great... I don't get the whole middle part, either.

I do NOT think that the Elle sounds like Idina AT ALL. LISTEN TO THAT SECTION! NOT THE WHOLE SONG (well, you can, but don't try to compare it to Idina). I didn't say ESPECIALLY in that part, I said IN THAT PART. It sounds very much like Idina, but only that person. NOT ELLE! Listen to "China's army's on alert." How many times do I have to say it?

The person who said "China's army's on alert" sounds sliiiightly like Idina Menzel, but I don't think she sounds enough like her to actually BE her. (Though I bet the poor demo ensemble member would be tickled pink to be compared to Ms. Menzel!)

It sounds JUST like her. I am not joking. At all. It sounds like, in "Wicked," when she would sing/yell/scream/say "UP HERE! IT'S ME!!!!!!!"
How can you not get it?

It does not sound like Idina at all, even in that one snippet.
Who is singing for Elle? I know Kerry Butler sang as Elle in some demos, but it is not her, and this is definitely not Laura Bell Bundy.
