There was quite a bit of discussion about the show (mostly very favorable) in the week previews started (May 1) but I haven't seen anything posted about the show since then. Does anyone know if they have made any significant changes since preview week 1?

I saw it last Sunday. Meh. Could get better...I think it's going to be a hit, nevertheless. It needs more "timing". Some of the jokes bombed. Unfortunate. Ran into Okrent, also. They hang out sometimes before the show outside on 43rd st. Ran into Marilyn Sokol the other day at my coffee shop, also. Nice woman. She was "studying" and asked me and my friend if she could try out some new jokes on us..and did. Pretty darn funny! They ARE still changing things, she said. sooo.....

Thanks. It sounds as if they're still trying to improve it, and how cool that Marilyn asked you to listen to some new stuff. I do remember reading your thoughts, (which did seem to be a minority view) and was wondering if the timing is geting better, etc.

A friend of mine saw it this past Thursday and absolutely loved it. He called it the anti Jackie Mason, says there is a joy to the comedy that his negative style never achieved and the audience seemed to agree with the premise that humor is important in getting us thru difficult circumstances.

My parents and uncle & aunt have tickets for this weekend. I'm interested to hear what they think. Of course, they all loved Jewtopia and Beau Jest.

I don't know whether or not that counts, but it's funny.
