I was there, I won tickets through BWW.
ETA: musical guy beat me to the program list.
As far as Martha Plimpton, her singing voice actually sounds just like you'd think it would. Very similar to her speaking voice. It is a raspy, jazz type of sound. It's not remarkable, but she acted the **** out the song so much that it didn't even matter.

Sorry colleen_lee for beating you to it - forgive me? HA HA
Martha was great and for me (IMO) one of the highlights of the evening - she really sold that song and looked like she had a ball the entire time she was up there!

Posted: 8/6/08 at 12:59pmI saw the show as well I was very pleasantly surprised with Martha Plimpton's performance. I can't say there was any particular part I didn't enjoy. I particularly liked Anthony Rapp's song. I would love to have a copy of him singing it! They assembled such a talented group of people. I wish they would have had time to perform more!

Posted: 8/6/08 at 1:48pmI was there and really enjoyed it. I absolutely LOVED the couple who sang "Tonight". I know we've heard rumors about Tony being definitely cast, but I can say I would be absolutely thrilled if she was Maria. She was adorable and sang the heck out of that song.
LIVE THAT LESSON!!!!!!
