Die, Vampire, Die question
#1Die, Vampire, Die question
Posted: 2/25/09 at 1:28amForgive me if this has been asked before. What do they say in "Die, Vampire, Die" on the air freshener vampire part. It sounds like latin, but I have no idea.

"Alice Ripley should win a Tony"
sorry I don't have the REAL answer for you... but maybe I'm right. You never know. That Alice Ripley has her ways.

They sing "Morte, vampir, morte!". I believe it's Italian, not Latin, because then it would be 'morere'. My Latin classes are several years behind me though, so I'm not entirely sure.
Hope this helps :)

Posted: 2/25/09 at 1:50amI think it's supposed to be fake Latin for "Die vampire die". It's not exactly what the Latin would really be, and I don't know Italian so I can't weigh in on that, but given that the whole moment has sort of a church-y feel to it I would imagine it's meant to imitate Latin...
