I've attended the Flea Market 7 or 8 times now and this was probably my least favorite year (with the exception of the horrific Birdland edition). I used to buy a lot of Playbills, but the boxes were now continually swamped. I also saw several tables where dozens of Playbills had landed on the floor. Thanks for your help, everyone! As to the feather: I think I remember which show it's from! I believe it's from the pillow fight scene in The Mountaintop. Since I saw The Mountaintop and Follies during the same trip, it's quite possible that the rose petals are indeed from Follies.

I had a look at the list of shows that I saw during that period and removed the ones where these goodies are definitely not from. I flew in from Belgium especially for the Flea Market (6th year in a row) and didn't regret it at all. Just wish it was easier to transport posters, they're too sturdy to roll them up. I think it was about three years ago that - the evening before the Flea Market - they forecasted rain pretty much all day... In the end, it didn't rain at all. So you never know. On a sidenote: if there's heavy rain, I think the Marriott Marquis could easily make a few conference rooms available or even the large open space on the second floor. Would be ten times better than the Roseland Ballroom.

Lynch is contracted until mid July; I highly doubt that they will close during the Summer holidays when there are plenty of tourists around. Tourists for whom Broadway = shows like Phantom, Chicago, Mamma Mia, Annie,...

Not the best Flea Market ever, but there were still some nice bargains to be had... As usual, I got a load of Playbills for my collection. Also some cheap programs (How to Succeed, Hugh Jackman, Follies, Anything Goes,...) and scripts (Scottsboro Boys, BoM, Master Class,...). Props are always some of my favorite items, this year I got a broken record from Memphis and sheet music from Phantom. Thanks so much for all the replies, everyone. I'm sure CapnHook is right about the origin of the mysterious Playbill. Too bad that the show closed so early, but I guess different artwork wouldn't have saved the show from closing. It's just interesting that Playbill decided to include it in their Playbill Vault.
