Difficulty Getting Encores! Tickets?

Really wanting to take an NYC trip during May 2022 to catch Encores!' production of Into the Woods, as I'm a major Sondheim nerd and the prospect of hearing that score with their famously giant orchestra is overwhelmingly exciting. How difficult is it to get tickets to Encores! shows, and when should I start paying attention for an on-sale date? Any tips would be appreciated!

As far as on-sale dates, the 3 Encores shows go on sale Oct 4 to members and Oct 18 to the general public.

It's not hard to get tickets for Encores shows. Even their most popular shows are a available at TKTS on the day of prrformance.

Unless it’s a one-night-only performance, it’s generally incredibly easy to get tickets, even at the lowest price tier, since City Center’s main theater is huge and Encores tends to spend their money on talent rather than marketing.

It's also scheduled to run two weeks. And about a week or so before the run City Center tends to release what appear to be house seats.
