re: Dirty Rotten Review (2/23 matinee)

I love Norbert! DRS is a great show, but w/out him it wouldn't be the same. He'd better win the Tony, he's extremely talented and brings so much extra to the show. Thank goodness he's able to really let loose in this role, he was great as Fiyero, but that was such a restrictive role for him.

No, they didn't take it out, but they used to do it an extra (3rd) time.

I just came back last night from seeing DRS! We won the lottery (1st try!) and we got great seats. Sherie was out for us too but her u/s was amazing! The show was amazing and I loved the Ruprecht scene!

Wow, that's interesting. How'd they fit that in?

After they did it the second time, JL said something to the effect of, "One more time, for good measure." The stage lights went out, cue music, and they did the whole thing again and then moved on.

I think in this role Norbert really related it to himself. He def made it his own and loved everything he made it to be. He released a whole different side of himself. Loved every minute!
