Has anyone had here become members of, or has had any experience with, any of the following services: Audience Extras (AE), Play by Play and Theatermania.com's Gold Club? If so, what has been your experience and were they worth the price it cost to join them?

I personally havent but I checked out my friend's account on AE. It's a lot of off-bway stuff. There's occasionally one or two bway shows (little shop was up there), but obviously youre not going to get $3 to wicked or the boy from oz. It depends on if youre willing to test the waters and try different stuff.

These two, you don't have to pay to join, but I find them helpful...

Playbill.com, if you register your e-mail address and become a member, you get great discounts...

BroadwayBox.com lists lots of discounts found in newspapers, on Playbill, etc. It's a great collection of discounts.

There is also TDF, which you can join if you are a teacher or a student, and they often have REALLY cheap tickets.
