Posted: 11/1/14 at 4:03pmWhy Lion King? There are lots of other shows that many (including myself) consider better, which have cheaper tickets are very good group offers. Maybe try Matilda?
Sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty.

Posted: 11/1/14 at 4:03pmI'd pick a show that is not as popular. Maybe Cinderella. If you want to do it for cheap stay away from Disney shows and Wicked.

Posted: 11/1/14 at 9:32pmA lot of shows are very accommodating to student groups, but not sure if The Lion King is one of them. If the larger goal is to expose the kids to Broadway, that seems doable, though.

Posted: 11/1/14 at 9:52pmCinderella has Thursday matinees. It'll be over by 4:30 and I've seen a bunch of school buses by the theatre on Thursdays with tons of students getting out. I'm sure they'd be happy to work out a group rate for you.

Check out Arts Connection's High 5 Ticket program. They don't often have Broadway, but they have a lot of Off-Broadway, dance, and music!
