If ABC started jumping on the bandwagon with these live broadcasts, I'd much rather see them do Beauty and the Beast, to be honest. It would probably draw in a bigger audience.

I can handle it on a live stage, but I don't know if I could take 3 hours of life size household objects singing and dancing on TV.

Well, Disney is currently developing a live action Beauty & the Beast with Bill Condon at the helm, though at this point, it's unknown whether or not if it's going to be a musical.

HAHAHAHA The Little Mermaid would probably be worse in a live broadcast than it was on Broadway, especially with NBC adapting it!
