Then again, we've seen in recent years how at the movies, celebrities aren't relevant when it comes to the box office as much as they used to be. These days, there's many of them who aren't consistent with delivering good box office numbers. The most a celebrity attached to any project can really do is getting it financed for

Thanks in advance.

According to Peter Filichia's book, Strippers, Showgirls, and Sharks, it seemed that many Tony voters at the time weren't e

When Tom Kirdahy shared about the film now being on Disney+ and Hulu on his Instagram stories, I replied with "I rewatched it earlier today. Great job," which he gave a heart reaction to.

I was not a fan of Baz's Elvis movie, so I'm not interested.

It is worth noting that Layton Williams was previously set to play Molina in the upcoming U.K. tour of Kiss of the Spider Woman, but backed out because "an opportunity arose that I simply couldn’t turn down." Turns out it was this.

Will Disney bring Hercules to Broadway?
 Feb 20 2026, 04:50:29 PM

Merkin2 said: "Julie Taymor said she was only going to do The Lion King if it was pure theater and they need to go back to that."

Seeing how Disney tried to replicate that success with Tarzan and The Little Mermaid, but failed miserably, it's understandable why they haven't been pursuing high brow theatre directors as of late.

A number of people are still waiting for the live capture of the 2023 reunion concert to premiere. I've read that it's currently on hold because of this revival.

OFFICIAL TONY AWARDS ELIGIBILITY 2025-26

While the Tonys and the Oliviers don't always see eye to eye, it is worth noting that Oedipus did managed to win Best Play Revival from the latter last year.

That's true. It'd also be something for Levy to lose the Olivier for the West End run to Nicole Scherzin

Just in Time - Matt Morrison?

Worth noting that this will mark Morrison’s first time stepping into a Broadway production as a replacement since the first Rocky Horror Show revival in the early 2000s, which was also at Circle in the Square.

New Sara Bareillis musical THE INTERESTINGS to premiere at Berkeley in 2027; Michael Arden directing
 Feb 11 2026, 03:36:00 PM

I read somewhere in these forums not too long ago questioning whether or not Arden is as good at putting together new musicals as he is with revivals. Those are the exact sentiments with Diane Paulus, who helmed Bareilles' first musical, Waitress. While that show has its fans, it also has its share of detractors. It should be interesting (pun intended) to see how this one fares.
