Disney Goes Off-B'way?

I was at a party yesterday and heard that Disney is taking over Tony n' Tina's Wedding in NYC. Anyone have any inside info here?

Michale Eisner was at the show Saturday, and he talked about his relatioship with the current producers on Friday's Charlie Rose show, but he just left Disney, so maybe this is his first nonDisney project. Kind of makes sense, rigth? Fun, touristy, well branded? Also trademarks of The Mouse.

It seems a natural fit but I would be skeptical about Eisner or Disney moving off-Broadway. However, if there is any small show that could really be Times Squared," that's the one.

What could he possibly do to it? Its been running for so long, i doubt he could really screw it up.

Michael Eisner did not leave disney, he gave up one of two titles and they are bringing in others to help him reguide the company.
