If you would like to know who sang a particular song, PM me.
The production overall was amazing! When you go to see this show, you need to know that it is NOT a Broadway musical, but a Broadway revue. A small plot carries the songs along and I thought it worked perfectly.
Sets were simple, but creative. Lighting was very intense with color...all the instruments that were used on stage were moving lights. No sound flaws. I was impressed. The quartet is constantly moving around these large recording mics. They were used effectively, but I feel they were over done and found it destracting. The orchestra was in a Hollywood Squares formation and moved around a lot.
The performers were A-MA-ZING! Every single person on that stage knew how to belt and could do it well.
Ashley Brown: This girl is going to be a huge star! She is gorgeous. The vocal chords on her are huge. She belted out Reflection and pretty much every other ballad she sang. I was impressed by her performance the most.
Brian Sutherland: Great voice, good presence. He brought some experience to the stage...and balanced out all of the young men.
Emily Skinner: What can I say? This lady is a diva! No, literally...in the show she is the diva. I almost cried during her performance of Will The Sun Ever Shine Again?. I have admired her for awhile now and it was great to see her live.
Andrew Samonsky: H-O-T-T-! This boy can sing, dance, please the eye, etc.
Quartet: High energy. Andy Karl is Orfeh's husband, I believe. Him and Tyler were in Altar Boyz off-Broadway. Tyler was in Mamma Mia! on Broadway, also. The two ladies are newcomers and are fantastic. I sat right in front of Keewa's brother.
To sum it all up: there is not one weak point on that stage. I would highly suggest cathing this show for the talent, but remember...it is not a Broadway musical...so do not go expecting one. Emily told me that they have a lot of work to do and things are changing everyday.
BEST PERFORMER AWARD: Ashley Brown, with Emily right behind.
That is all I have to say right now...I am tired...good night!
PS- Bethany, Emily said hi.
Thanks, been looking forward to this one (as a tour! PLEASE don't bring it to Broadway! maybe a limited engagement, but nothing more.)
How were the PETER PAN songs?

Come to Bway! Why not! It's sounds amazing! Can't wait to see it!
I love Disney songs! Thanks for your review BT11
I wouldn't want this on Broadway - at least not for a long period of time. A musical revue - no real story. Think of it as a major theme park show.
Disney needs to bring MERMAID and POPPINS to Broadway.

All were very nice at the stage door, also.
On my way to the stage door, I almost got mugged.
My first non-violent mugging experience! I love some of the stories they give. I gave the man three dollars and told him to move on.

I'm feeling the love... feel it.
Glad you had fun. Can't wait to see it in Chicago in December.
I'll probably see it in Boston, too, as... I live right outside (or will at that point).
Little Wicked person -- where are you from? Your icon looks AWFULLY familiar!

Thanks so much for the review. I really, really, REALLY like Brian Sutherland, haven't seen him in far too long, and plan to see it on the Philly stop in January.

This revue is pretty impressive.
My tickets were only $50 bucks for row E center, but Cleveland is pretty much like previews on Broadway.
I have decided to go again and take my twin sisters for their 9th birthday.
Where the hell do I find all of this money??? It is quickly running out!
I want to see this show. Sounds great.
If the cast is recording in January, how soon for the CD to actually be available? I love Disney songs!!
Thanks for the review, i cant wait to see it on december 4th!
Thanks for the review. I am not really a fan of revue type shows but I plan to see this in January when it comes to DC. I am so excited to see Emily Skinner live for the first time.
Is Emily Skinner's voice opera at all or is it total belting? Thanks!
I've got tickets to see this in Chicago on December 3. I count about 20 Alan Menken songs in the show!! I'm glad that the terrific song "Will the Sun Ever Shine Again?" from the less-than-great movie Home on the Range is in the show.
Thanks for the encouraging review, Bway. I can't wait to see it.

Emily was so wonderful singing Will The Sun Ever Shine Again?
There is a lot of belting in the show. There is hardly any "opera" style singing.
Wow, I cannot get over what a fun time I had last night! There was so much talent on the Palace Theatre's stage...it makes me smile just thinking about it. I can't wait to catch it one more time.
By the way, quartet member Keewa is from Chicago.

I am SO excited to see Emily live for the.... *hides her face in embarrassment* TIME!!!! WOO.
No seriously, now why is Boston left out of the tour list on Playbill? What's THAT about? Good thing I'm going to Chicago. Looks like hobag ain't comin' 'round no mo'. Boo. Boston is missing out on the one show Emily will probably ever headline. HOW depressing. Boston, you loser. You whore. How could YOU? Depriving Beantowners of the Skinnerness. Evil. Eeeeeeeevil.
chinkie -- I'm coming into Chicago on December 4th. I'm arriving in the afternoon. Woohoo.
Can anyone tell how EXCITED... and maybe a little hyper... I am to be going to a city that isn't Boston, NYC, or DC???? Noo... I'm going to a NEW city... in a DIFFERENT TIME ZONE... it's truly a day for celebration!
