Displaying Playbills

Posted: 1/25/10 at 6:52amI would like to decorate a wall in my bedroom with Playbills but I can't afford individual frames. Anybody have any suggestions?

Posted: 1/25/10 at 6:56amI get frames at Amazing Savings for like 1 or 2 dollars each.

Posted: 1/25/10 at 7:33amWhat I do is make a color copy of them and tape them up on the wall. That way I don't ruin the playbill but they are still displayed.

Posted: 1/25/10 at 9:03amI got some frames for mine at Hobby Lobby for like $3 each. I imagine you could find similarly priced ones at Michael's, Wal-Mart, etc. When I was looking around for mine Target and Bed Bath and Beyond also had some pretty cheap ones.

If you're near an Ikea they have clip frames that work nicely. They are 4 for $10 perhaps? Can't remember exactly. And they are always stocked up so there is no problem getting several matching ones.
Edit: Curiosity got the better of me. They were 2 for $3.

Posted: 1/25/10 at 2:34pmI do the same as DCR: make a color photocopy of the cover to put on the wall. I put the actual playbill in a binder with protective sleeves. I'd be afraid of the color fading if I hung it up.

Did I choose my colours around the Playbill colours? Maaaaybe. There are more elsewhere but that's the general idea.

wdwfreak and burgandy - your rooms look great. Do you use 8x10 frames?
Thanks for all your suggestions. I'll post a pix after I get done with the room.
