If one is calling "Best Score" awards after four new musicals and a season one third over, then perhaps we all have too much time on our hands.

A bit of trivial Broadway history:
Rocky Horror played the Belasco in 1975 and was not a success. Take a good look at the Belasco sometime. Ask yourself why there are no lower boxes. Some half wit thought it would be okay to rip them out for Rocky Horror. Not just rip them out of this truly lovely house, but then not restore them--ever.

Also for Rocky Horror the orchestra seats were removed, and there were tables installed on that level only. The floor was set in small steps so that said tables were level. The theatre remained unbooked and unbookable for a couple years after this lapse in judgement.

This is one of the many reasons the older Bway theatres were landmarked in the 80s.

I'm excited about Bombay Dreams....It seems like a pretty interesting show! I don't know that much about it, but I'm still looking forward to it!
