ETA: It was really more like one second, two tops...but it was more than enough time.

It's enough time to say "Yep, there it is. Yep, it's really right there. Yep, it's STILL there." And then the blackout comes. re: Do they really go the full monty???

Great production, by the way!

Actually, Kelli wasn't naked in Dracula, she wore a body suit. Trust men, I saw maybe 3 feet in front of her at that point. However, Melissa Errico did briefly undo her top in a scene.

There aren't many prudes in this business, and why not give them a FULL MONTY at the end? I applaud this new cast and wish them well! Nudity onstage doesn't shock me since I have seen so much of it - I also worked with "Let My People Come" and still adore that Musical, which is the FULL EVERYTHING!

Didn't the Broadway conductor, Kimberly Grigsby, flash the cast every now and then? I remember her saying in some intervewiew she liked to "give the boys a show" every now and then.

I never liked her in Full Monty. She was constantly distracting people from the action onstage. What's she up to now?

Grigsby conducted TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA in Central Park over the summer, and was up to her old tricks: wearing a halter top so it looked like she was naked, pulling focus, etc.

If I rememebr correctly... Grigsby became sucha papular part of THE FULL MONTY.. she was dressed by famous designers who wanted her to wear their clothing.

As for the NSMT FULL MONTY... yes .. they all went the full monty and did it by choice. There is an older thread that someone from the show talked about the fact the actors asked for the effect to be cut because they felt the ending to be more honest that way.

On broadway they did cover their bits with cophats until the last few seconds in which they pulled them away and the lighting effect blinded the audience ... remember THE TONYS that year.. boy that could have been PENISGATE if not filmed right... Miss Janey Jacksone would have never happened.

I remember watching the Broadway production and thinking, during the final number, "Where are the battery packs for their body mikes?". Earlier in the show, you could see the battery packs bulging out of the backs of the guy's underwear. In the finale, they are in thongs. I finally realized - the mikes and battery packs are in the cop hats!
