I know this guy...
He's a total primmadonna and he DOES NOT speak on behalf of anyone but himself.
Don't forget, he also wrote a book.

Big deal.
I could have my journal printed too.
I've worked with him and he's less than a nice person.
Besides, it took him HOW LONG to get HIS Equity card?
I'm just saying.......

Good point that the ticket prices should be reduced for non-union tours, and probably all shows in general, to be more fair to the actors. Also, I think non-union actors "deserve some normalcy" too. I still believe it is not right that actors have to join a union(or anyone in any other profession) to be successful in musical theater, it seems that it takes away some freedom of what jobs an actor can take. It isn't right that an actor can get kicked out of the union just because he or she wanted to join a non-union tour, of course I undestand they probably know what they are risking. I can see the point of unions, to keep things fair and safe, but there are times that I think unions cause more problems than they solve. So I am kind of hoping Equity's power does weaken, and a system or laws can be put in place that would be fair for all.
