Or should I just shell out for full price tickets?
I know with Daniel Radcliffe things are insane..

People thought Equus would sell like crazy
I walked up to the box office for a random saturday matinee brought Standing room but was able to find a seat upstairs for the 2nd act their were MANY empty mezz seats.
I also remember it being up on TDF for awhile
My suggestion is Join TDF and u might get a discount for How to succeed
I know ELF and Hair were on TDF a bunch

Except you can't really compare a show like Equus to How to Suceed: Entirely different animals.

(I wouldn't begin to guess whether or not there will be discounts, however. It usually doesnt happen, however, until closer to performances actually begining.)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Exactly, dramamama. Families weren't buying tickets to Equus, but they can for How to Succeed. Plus, the show opens about a month before the final Potter film comes out. That means Radcliffe will be everywhere, and at all of the Harry Potter press he does, they'll mention this show.

Plus, if in addition to all that, the show gets good reviews...it could become a very hot ticket.

I would still think there'd be a discount for previews, though.
