Do you? I hope not.

Hurt his chances? I don't think he could possibly win.
Honestly, he didn't really have a chance. Piven got a lot of great reviews, but he also got a lot of "well, he was okay" reviews. And even if he isn't directly playing Ari Gould from ENTOURAGE, the perception that he is is still out there.
Also, Raul pretty much steals the show from everyone else - which is not entirely Piven's fault, as Raul has the really flashy part.
What's a Ploe?
Why YES!...Yes I doe!
From the sound of it, his behaviour will probably remove him from any award contention, including Tonys and Emmys.
if they steal this award - which is so obviously his - it's a case of discrimination against those who suffer from high mercury counts. and termometers. if the tonys allow such blatant bigotry to ruin the wards i cannot see them ever being allowed to be awarded again.

I was so upset just thinking about this injustice I misspelled PLOW! It's so not fair for you to make fun of me- just like it's not fair that they would punish Jeremy for getting sick!
why the hate u ****** haterz? u new what he ment.
i hat tht u had 2 chng it, jo. i hat tht u hd 2 confrm 2 thr convntns.
Well, it certainly won't help!
But I'm not sure he would have been nominated anyway....I thought he was "good" not great.
I doubt it would affect any other awards though...unless it's proven to be a total sham. Then he's got other things to worry about than awards.

I think his performance is what hurt him for a chance at a tony.
haterz! jeremy will hunt down each and every one of you unbelievers and molest you and your best friend.
Hurt, no.
Obliterate, incinerate, annihilate, liquidate, extinguish, expunge, and just generally delete, yes. Along with his chances of ever working on Broadway again.
Way to maintain a realistic perspective, humbug.

The Emmys couldn't care less about what happens on Broadway. Hollywood has known about his work ethic for awhile now and they still reward him for it every year.
I doubt if he should be writing an acceptance speech any time soon.
Did he ever really have one anyway? And this is from someone who liked his performance a lot.
