Pretty much describes most of the posts you make about musicals on this forum. I cannot express how much of a downer you are particularly with your strong negative opinions about shows like ONCE. You are persistently so negative I actually am surprised reading your post because it does imply you experience joy and happiness. You're pretty much the most negative poster here I think.

Then you obviously haven't read my posts describing my feelings when I saw Mary, Mary, Forty Carats, Dear World, Milk and Honey, 70, Girls, 70, etc. In these posts, I made perfectly clear the euphoria I felt in seeing them.
Now there's no reason you should have read every post I've written here, or any at all, for that matter. I certainly don't read every post here, including yours, though I've always liked yours-- the above posts excepted (for which I now await an apology).
But if you're ignorant of what I have written, don't arrive at erroneous conclusions about me, or the joy I have derived at the theatre.
As for my opinions of Once, yes I hated the show, as did many others. I stated my opinions on the matter, just as those who likewise hated it, and those who loved it as well. I haven't the slightest idea why my opinions would matter to anyone else anyway. But you can rest assured that I don't try to trample on anyone else's flower beds. That's wholly foreign both to my nature and code of conduct. If people loved it, good for them. But their opnions are irrelevant to mine, as mine should be to theirs.
Let everyone find joy and happiness where they may.

I believe we need brief moments of euphoria--in frequent doses--or the spirit is in danger of withering and dying. Without little bits of euphoria, you know, you may very well grow as bitter as you pretend to be on BroadwayWorld.
It's never too late, so I wish for you one euphoric moment, to be administered as quickly as possible.
I told you I felt something akin to euphoria this very year at Donnybrook! It was SiaT who asked specifically about a new work. There have been many revivals of wonderful shows between 1983 and today.
And we were just talking aout the theatre. Who's to say I don't experience bliss on a daily basis in all the other aspects of my life? I do have a life apart from the theatre, after all, just as you do. Why would you presume I don't? And in the course of each day of it I experience joy all the time.
