...that there should be a revival of "Sunday in the Park with George"? After just seeing the taping with Mandy and Bernadette I thought the show would be even more succesful now then before. What do you think? Also, who do you think should be in it?

I adore Sunday. I don't adore mysterious ellipsed subject lines. I'm begging you, please change it.
La Cage Aux Folles, which came out in the same year as Sunday in the Park With George, only got its first revival last year. Considering the fact that the former was a hit and the latter a modestly successful flop in their original incarnations, I wouldn't be surprised if we had to wait a few more years for a Sunday revival.
Then again, Ben Brantley is flogging the Menier Chocolate Factory production of the show for all it's worth, and a West End transfer is being planned. If that succeeds, Broadway could be next. Maybe 2007 or 8? It worries me a bit because the show is so tiny. On the one hand, it worked beautifully in a small space- but on the other hand, the sets and musicians (even with a cut-down pit) are probably too expensive for Off-Broadway. Who knows.
