Most of the score is totally derivative of other, better songs. The song "Streetsinger" is a barely disguised rip-off of Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come."

The beginning sounds like the Folger's theme song...

lets face it people, you can take any song out there and find a song that slightly matches. Thats because music has a beat and beats can twist and mesh together. Bklyn has an amazing score...like many other musicals do.

I wouldn't call Brooklyn's score amazing. Let's pick our words more carefully. It's fun. It's catchy. Not amazing.
