Does anyone know when Patti LuPone's Christmas CD will be released?

As far as Christmas music goes, I only know of Patti's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." from her "....Still Burning." sessions. I can't imagine she'd release a Christmas CD this year. She's already had the Gypsy CD and next month there's the "PATTI LuPONE @ Les Mouches" CD.

Having said all that, I'd be thrilled if she ever releases a Christmas CD.

Patti singing Christmas is like having Harvey Feirstein sing opera. Do you really want someone to belt and slur the words for Silent Night?

Excuse me. Have you heard Patti's rendition of "Small World" in GYPSY? Or "You'll Never Get Away From Me"? This woman knows how to caress a lyric.

I think it's funny when people say she cannot act. She considers herself an actor first and foremost, an actor who sings. Not to mention she is a classically trained actor from Juilliard.

I think it's a little ridiculous to say that anyone acting professionally has NO talent at all. some actors are obviously more capable than others, some you just don't like...but to say someone has absolutely no talent whatsoever? that's ludicrous.
