Hi

Newbie here, hoping for a bit of advice. Forgive me if this question is not appropriate for this type of forum.

I am looking at bringing my partner to see Hello Dolly next year. So my question:

What is the best way to be able to secure tickets earlier in the run (late April)? and when are they likely to go in sale?

I have never been to America before and know that answers are only approximate; however, I am just trying to work out things because we would need to travel from the other side of the world and my partner requires medical support so advance planning with hotels / travel is best. They will need to be wheelchair accessible tickets. I believe American Express card owners can sometimes access tickets in advance so would be willing to get a card if that gives a better chance. Is Ticketmaster the main place they will be available?

Normally I would be patient and have no problem waiting for the available tickets later in the run but unfortunately my partner is unwell and on limited time and he loves Bette Midler and I think this would be a perfect last hurrah for him. If we waited until late next year then travel will not be possible even if he is still with us.

Thank You for any advice.

Jed

ps. Would love to see Hamilton too but after reading articles about ticket difficulties I dont think it will be possible!

I also need to plan attendance to a Broadway show, because I also come from halfway across the world.  But over the years, I have been quite lucky in getting the tickets to shows I wanted to see by planning the travel well and way in advance.

Hello, Dolly! tickets will be sold by TELECHARGE ( not Ticketmaster) -- but tickets are not yet on sale.

In the past, I have had some problems re my tickets but I have found discussing the issues with their Customer Service unit very helpful.  You may wish to communicate with them and explain the ticket issues that you would like to resolve.

Also, the Telecharge Page has a lot of useful information ( contact info, seating charts including wheelchair seating, future info on ticket sale prices/dates, etc  )  -- do check out the links to get more info. Keep checking it for future information on ticket sales.

Tickets for Hamilton have not yet been released for next April, so if you pay attention, you might just get lucky there, too!  (And Hamilton has had an Am Ex pre sale eah time, I believe.)
