Truly grateful I was able to get to NY and see this. One of my favorite scores. The costumes for this Encores production were fantastic. It felt like mote than a concert.
The young man she is singing to in the video was actor Phillip Johnson Richardson, who has been doing outstanding work recently as the Tin Man in the revival of The Wiz.
