Technically, Murphy only missed one performance of LOVEMUSIK since the first performance she couldn't attend was cancelled. Her understudy Ann Morrison went on for her at the next performance and then Murphy was back for the rest of the run (and brilliant as usual).
Much better choice than Glenn Close, IMO, Murphy will knock it out of the park.
