She's really giving her all tonight.

Looks like we're in for the first decent performance of the night.

I really wanna go see WT. Right now.

Yup, was nearly perfect except for her final note at the end. Best performance thus far.

That last note was great--that's how it is done in the show.

Yea to Kathleen for winning!!

And to whomever said that Donna doesn't really sing in the show---you still feel that way, sweetie?

I thought I heard a minor crack in her voice on that last note?

I agree! That final note WAS amazing! Is she supposed to be drunk?

That song didn't really do anything for me. I wouldn't want to go see the show based on that performance. I wish they had done Conga but I understand this included more of the cast this way

It did more for me than Wicked, Assasins, Caroline, or Fiddler.

She did sound fantastic---it was a great performance. Just as good if not better than the actual show at the theater. I was really impressed with her---the Best Actress race is intense this year, folks. I LOVE the Wonderful Town ensemble. Hell, the whole show is great. GO SEE WONDERFUL TOWN!

Oh! I do want to see Wonderful Town, Fiddler, Assasins! I already have Ave Q tix. Did anyone love NINE as much as I did? I saw it twice (two different trips). It was different but just as wonderful as the original produciton.

Donna's great and all, but I hate that song. I wish they would have done Conga.

I love Wonderful Town.
I WISH they would have done 100 ways to lose a man.
Wonderful Town is a fantastic show. I am surprised Donna did not win.
Every single woman that was nominated this year was outstanding.
I was so deeply moved by all of the ladies in Avenue Q, Caroline,
Wonderful Town and Wicked.

Love Donna Murphy. Don't love the song.

You know, it's really weird, but at the beginning of the number I really thought Donna was lip synching. When she started jumping around there was no breathing, no sounds of making a landing, just smooth, uninterrupted vocals. And I swear in some shots it looked as if she wasn't in synch at all.

But maybe I'm just tired and wasn't seeing or hearing right.

Here's my take on it, for what it's worth... It was definitely a great performance. I am a HUGE Donna Murphy fan. Tonight, though, I wish they chose another song to highlight on national television. This was their chance to showcase a show that most of the country won't have the opportunity to see. I'm not sure mainstream America will get a good feel for how dynamic this show really is. I, too, wish they performed Conga. I told several of my friends to watch tonight and keep an eye out for the legendary Donna Murphy. Tonight, after the show, I had to answer this question several times: "That's the performer you like so well?"

The first time I saw WT that song gave me a headache, the second time I loved that song. Maybe it grew on me, but tonight I found myself wishing they'd been able to do the whole number without the cuts, they did it so well.

And hang on, when did you win the discus?

Her voice was HOT tonight. I was so proud of her... and I have to get back to that show within the next few weeks (last time I saw it, she was out... and Linda is amazing as well).

She is just the epitome of what a diva is meant to be. She was in great form tonight... it was by far the best performance of the evening, after L.L. and Miss Channing's little rap duo, of course. :)
