Posted: 7/5/05 at 10:39pmI don't know how far in advance they go, but I sat in those seats for Gem of the Ocean. You have to lean to see over the railing and the top of the stage might be a bit blocked, but the view is otherwise clear, if distant. I think you have to buy those seats personally at the box office, as well.

Posted: 7/6/05 at 1:53pmI bought one the day of the show on a Sunday a month or two ago. I didn't think they were that great (I know, what do you expect for $25) BUT, they were super high up, and I'd only go for them if it's your only option. Also, I seem to recall there being next to nothing for leg room (luckily I'm short at was on an aisle) but if you're tall and/or leggy, that might pose a bit of a problem.

Posted: 7/6/05 at 2:09pmI didn't realize there was a balcony when I saw it in May. I was in the mezz. section and trust me, there is no leg room there either! But the balcony looked a bit high up.

Posted: 7/6/05 at 2:51pmIt's been selling really well since the Tonys, its pretty much been sold out every night. If you want to pay the $26, you can also try for student tickets or standing room (if its sold out) which goes on sale an hour before showtime. But people start lining up for that about 2 1/2 hours before showtime. And I believe the student tickets are in the balcony as well.
